Route Measuring System Of The Road

The development of the communication and transportation business, need to optimize the communication and transportation network further. Establishing a road status database of county, highway, national and province road is important to plan reconstruction and optimization road network.For establishing such road status database, gathering and processing the data of road status are keys. The status quo and trends of the research and development of the vehicular navigation and position system is thoroughly analyzed in this paper and some pivotal technical problems are discussed in detail.A kind of more practical method of gathering and processing road line shape data by vehicle navigation and position technology is put forward in this paper. The model of the route measuring system designed according to this technology is provided, elaboration of the key technology of realization are shown.In Implementation of the system, two technologies---GPS/DR vehicle navigation and GPS / electronic map are combined. This system can realize the continuous gathering and processing the data of the route line shape, and data processed can be convenient to input into the geographical information system. Simultaneously, visual of the navigation and position information is one of the characteristics of this measuring system.The modularization design method has adopted in the systematic design. So the change and upgrade of system are convenient. Systematic stability, simplification and convenience of operation have improvented a lot.The practical application of this route measuring system in Fujian Province is shown. The system fits to the severe environment of sheltered GPS signal. The stability and the suitability are meet.
