OSPF Technology And The Analysis Of Application In 12th Guangdong Province Sports Meeting

With the fast development of Internet technology, IP network has drawn more attentions than ever before as a promising network technology nowadays. As the core of the existence, operation and organization of IP networks, IP routing technology provides a possibility to resolve some key problems such as dynamic variability, real-time technology and QoS of IP networks. Among numerous routing technologies, OSPF protocol has become one of the most commonly used technologies in Internet WAN and Intranet enterprise networks.In Nov. 2006, 12^th Guangdong Province Sports Meeting was held in Foshan City, to guarantee smoothly progressing of all activities, the Coordinating Committee of Province Sports Meeting reached to an agreement to establish a computer network to interconnect each individual stadium to form a network as the communication carrier of information system. The network is therefore an integrated information network that covers whole city and interconnect each stadium, which functions as an information system to provide information querying, public Internet accessing services for staffers and journalists during the sports meeting.Based upon the in-depth analysis of OSPF technology, this dissertation delivers detailed analysis on the information network construction of 12^th Guangdong Province Sports Meeting that on a basis of OSPF technology and transmitted more ingoing information about the practical application of OSPF routing protocol.
