Study And Design Of Pseudo-coincidence Frequency Hopping Pattern

Frequency hopping communication system(FH) is provided with anti-jamming, anti-intercept, code division multiple access and channel sharing properties, so it became popular in military communication when it appeared. Currently, FH plays a important role in mobile communication, such as GSM, Home RF, Bluetooth. Frequency hopping pattern is a rule of carrier frequency's jumping, controlled by frequency hopping sequences. The properties of frequency hopping pattern affect the performance of frequency hopping communication system, so the design of frequency hopping pattern is the key of frequency hopping communication system.In this paper, the theoretical bounds of designing frequency hopping sequences is studied firstly, After apprehending the theory of frequency hopping system. There are theoretical bounds of hamming correlation, theoretical bounds of sequences number and length, theoretical bounds of Non-repeating frequency hopping sequences and so on. These bounds provide some specific standards to evaluate properties of frequency hopping pattern; Secondly, it is discussed that the forming methods of frequency hopping pattern based on m-sequence, RS-code and LCC; it is designed that the program of forming each frequency hopping pattern and analyzing the properties by MATLAB. it is introduced that the method of dual frequency band; Thirdly, based on a mass of data and figures, the characteristic of each frequency hopping pattern under different conditions is analyzed by MATLAB programs; At last, some useful conclusions is acquired. For example, the characteristic of frequency hopping pattern based on RS-code better than on m-sequences; frequency hopping pattern base on LCC is the only one reaching the all theoretical bounds. Frequency hopping pattern with given gap can boosts up system ability of anti-jamming and anti-multi access decline.
