As we known about the characteristics of differential frequency hopping technology can provide high-speed data rate, but it is difficult to achieve the e orthogonal network. Conventional frequency-hopping system could achieve the reasonable simultaneous orthogonal network through the designed frequency-hopping code, but has low data transfer rate. This paper puts forward the idea of mixed-frequency-hopping system, and makes an analysis of the performance of mixed frequency-hopping system over AWGN and Rayleigh fading channels。The paper briefly introduces the applications and research of conventional frequency and differential frequency hopping system abroad, and shows that the performance of DFH multi-access system is constrained by multiple access interference, then description the mixed-frequency-hopping communication systems overall framework. According to the characteristic of mixed-frequency-hopping techniques, two types of signal receivers is proposed. The performances of MFH system over AWGN and Rayleigh fading channels are analyzed and verified with simulations.Above all, this paper discussed the mixed-frequency-hopping system, pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of mixed-frequency-hopping multiple access compares to the differential frequency hopping system. The serial conclusions drawn in the paper has important value for researching, developmenting and designing mixed-frequency-hopping communication system in the future.
