The transmission tower is important structure equipment in the system of electric power. The corroded towers will directly destroy the reliability and safety of the system in transporting electricity. Therefore the study on corrosion and anticorrosion technology has become one of the important issues in electric power department and environmental department. This essay mainly discusses the study on nano-SiO2 modified organic anticorrosive coating for corroded transmission towers. For the strong activity of Nano-Si02, the conglobation will happen easily. It is modified and dispersed with KH-570 and the ultra dispersing agent by means of mechanical and ultrasonic dispersion. In order to get the optimum composition of the Nano-SiO2 modified organic coating, the influence of main factors on the properties of the modified coating is studied with orthogonal design experiment and the best proportion among main materials is obtained. The experiment indicates that the anti-corrosion effectiveness of it advances clearly and it has a better application prospect.
