CD Stamper production is an essential part as a whole of the Compact Disk production. CD Stamper surface parameters, such as surface flatness,roughness and disfigurement density, etc, have great influence on the quality of the production of Compact Discs. Therefore, we must take precision measurement techniques to measure and test it. It is very crucial and significant to measure the Stamper surface for the production and use of Compact Disk.In present-day surface morphology measuring techniques and evaluation theories have always been the frontier research field. Focusing detecting is an effective method used in the CD Stamper surface measurement. It is characterized by its great range of measurement in vertical and horizontal, higher dynamic ratio. Through measuring the Stamper surface parameters, we can evaluate and analyze the quality of Stamper. Compared with those present interferometries, this setup is simpler, cheaper, more precise, non-contact and no-damaged. Especially carry on analysis processing the measured data with PC, we can get the quantificational result quickly. So it expands astigmatic focus method in a new application field.The main contents of the thesis includes as follows:This thesis paper expatiates the status quo of surface characterization test of optical components domestic and overseas, and introduces the common means used to test surface characterization of optical components, sequentially puts forward the practical significance and applied value of these studies. Then, this dissertation also discussed and developed the probability of measuring surface morphology.
