Data mining is a new technology which can integrate the human mind's exploration abilities with the enormous processing power of computers to form a powerful knowledge discovery environment that capitalizes on the best of both worlds. Visualization is an intersected science which is based on Computer Graphics , Picture Process, CAD, Computer Vision, User Interface Method , System Design, etc. The multidimensional data visualization technology applied to Data Mining and exploration of large datasets is a new branch which is developed in recent years and has a promising future.This paper studied the method and the characters of visualization techniques ,based on these we analyse different visualization techniques on high-dimensional data, and make improvement on algorithm of DPSOM .We create a new icon techniques ,which called Polygon Techniques ,to visualize the effect of DPSOM algorithm .We realize it and make better effect. We create an new algorithm called GASOM .Which have better effect .The work this paper did as following:1. Study the characters and classification of the visualization technique, and understand deeply the merits and shorts of the techniques for visual multidimensional data sets.2. Research the method of the visualization technique and complete the function modules as following:(1)Make DPSOM Cluster Result visualized based on Polygon Techniques.(2)Develop a new algorithm of GASOMThrough the research and application, We find the same visualization technique works differently on the different kinds of data sets. The relationship between types of data sets and method for visualizing data. The visualization techniques cannot be improved unless with more and more practice.
