Nowadays,with the rapid development of science and technology,we are very familiar with Internet.Almost all the industries depend much on the convenient service of Internet.At the same time,the demand for network qulity of service(QoS) is higher and higher.Effective congestion control is one of the most important factors.During the early time of the designing the Internet,people usually implemented it by means of end-to-end flow control scheme based on slide window in Transmisson Control Protocol(TCP).The recent research begins to explore how to make the intermediate node contribute to congestion avoidance because there are some limitation at the end system.As an enhancement mechanism for the end-to-end congestion control,Active Queue Management can keep smaller queue delay and higher throughput by purposefully dropping the packets at the intermediate nodes.So it can guarantee the QoS.In this paper,we integrate the thinking of controlling theory into the theory of neural network,and bring forward new AQM arithmetic based on traditional AQN arithmetic.Simulation results indicate that the new arithmetic is effective.Our reseach work includes:1. We designed a single neuron self adaptive PID controller.And the simulation results indicate the capability such as adjust time,error bound and stability of queue size in Router is superior to the traditional PID controller.2. We designed an adaptive PID controller where a single neural network is utilized to achieve PID parameters self-adjustment and a RBF neural network is utilized to identify the controlled plant on line. And the simulation results indicate the capability such as adjust time,error bound and stability of queue size in Router is more superior to the traditional PID controller.3. We analysed the chaos phenomena in the model of Internet congestion controlling,and gave some method of control.
