The digitalization of the multimedia data and the technique of network propagation provide much convenience for multimedia information's storage and extraction. But the problem of piratical editions follows this. As an important application of information'hide technique, digital watermarking technique provide the new way in copyright protection of multimedia data.This paper is researching in digital watermarking for color images, and it raises a new method of digital watermarking for color images based on DWT and HVS. The method use HVS model to embeds watermark in discrete wavelet transform area, and more, the watermarking is meaningful binary bitmap. For improving the safety and anti-interference, watermarking be scrambled before it be embedded. In the paper, with reference to the invisibility and robust, choosing the area of 3-DWT's highest approximation sub-bands to embedding watermark, applying multi-channel and repeating embedding technology, and the embedding intensity is based on classify of images block to self-suitable adjusting.The method needn't original images for detecting the watermark. For the latest information of watermarking, it applies the way of departing groups instead of simple averaging, after more kinds of watermarking are extracted from different color. That makes the watermarking be better recovering when the images are attracted.Experimental results show that the method has good invisibility, safety and robustness.
