| Data analysis model based on data Warehouse, OLAP and its associated front-end display technology has deeply changed Business decision-making and is becoming the main branch of data analysis technology. However, in the project practice, it has much difference with traditional information management system in aspect of process control and software reuse.The technology of Business Intelligence, data warehouse, OLAP online analytical processing and related software reuse technology are introduced in the paper, and the character of software reuse has been studied deeply with specific data warehouse project. The key issue of development efficiency in the project has been solved and capability of solving complex report forms by study front-end display technology has been studied in the practice of telecommunication enterprise's data warehouse project.The main method of developing data warehouse project is prototype. The paper introduces the method of process control in the requirement analysis, concept model, logical model, physical model of data warehouse, OLAP model and front-end display phase.From the point view of business intelligence solutions, the front-end display is an indispensable tool in a project. The two major changes have great influence on technology of front-end display which corresponds to the two important aspects of front-end display tool: the architecture of the front-end display tool; the design of report forms. The project develop complex report forms based on Microsoft report forms tool"Reporting Services", MDX(multi-dimensional expression), OLAP, data warehouse technology.Business intelligence application technology based on data warehouse have the incomparable advantages compared with the traditional data analysis model, in response speed, design of report forms, the rapid changes in browse the contents of the report forms, maintenance of the project. With the development of the relevant technologies the costs will fall down, and in the commercial area, those technologies should become the main branch of data analysis technology. |
