Digital microwave equipments had been used in the mobile net and special net. For the need of the market of communication, in the paper, it mentions a method of implement of digital microwave equipment (base-band, IF), which is a high price-to-performance ratio, lower cost, smarter interfaces, higher integrated device electronics. It must have an economic value.In this paper, scheme of the high price-to-performance microwave equipment is designed having started with now available contrast with microwave equipment, type choice of chip and project demonstration. It embodies that a chip STV0299, applying for digital satellite transmission and set-top boxes, is used as receiver in the base-band. Comparing with the functions of STV0299, the FPGA is used to implement these functions in the base-band transmission and the chip choosing rightly puts up the intermediate frequency hardware platform of microwave equipment. In this scheme, some researches of key technology, such as Reed-Solomon coder, Convolutive Interleaver, Digital shaping filter, Automatic Gain Control and LO, have the meaning of satisfying with the hereafter the different consumer need and designing the different microwave equipment.At last, we set down a detailed test plan and execute it to our system. Through the test, we draw some useful conclusions, and make improvement based on the result of the test and the analysis of the theory.
