The software of spinning process management by information management theory and database technology has been developed to make spinning enterprises normalize process management, enhance their process management level, fit production requirements of small-scale and multi-species. The system is an important subsystem of Huamao Group's management information system.The flow of planning and management of spinning process is analyzed. To satisfy users'need of planning process by abundant way, the process database is designed as three-layered structure; furthermore, user-defined mechanism is introduced. This method not only improves system's generality, but also provides a good case expression mode for assumed intelligent spinning planning. Some functions are achieved based on process database and the concept of material unit, such as process automatic computation, aided process planning. At the same time, to ensure the system's security, two-class certification and functional licensing mechanism are designed in the application layer. In addition, the method of intelligent spinning planning based on techniques of Case-based Reasoning is discussed.The system is developed by Delphi 7.0 as application development facility, and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as Database Management System on Windows Operating System. Using module design thought, the system has its characteristics of all functions, friendly interface, convenient operation and well running effect.Finally completed spinning process management information system provides users convenient and rapid platform, enormously enhances working efficiency, and gets Huamao Group's information management more perfect.
