Digital Audio Or Digital Video (DADV) Files Management System

With the development of multimedia technology, the digitalization of information prevails. Many kinds of information transform to digital audio or digital video (DADV) files. As DADV files claim large storage space and refresh quickly, the management of DADV files has become the urgent problem to be tackled to some department. This paper proposed a management scheme based on JPEG 2000 and digital watermarking.This paper analyzes the characteristics and applications of watermarking, introduces it into the management of DADV, and accomplishes the tasks of information description,copyright protection and integration protection. Watermarking is very elusive and can not be discovered by sense or statistical analysis. So, management of DADV files based on watermarking is very superior. On this basis, time and transformation domain watermarking algorithm and attacks of watermarking are discussed.On the basis of introduction of describing main characteristics of JPEG 2000, this paper analyzes the coding/decoding procedure of JPEG 2000, and entails a algorithm of implanting digital watermarking into JPEG 2000, which includes the pre-process, implanting and detection of watermarking. This algorithm is very robust.To watermarking DADV files is a resource intensive operation. It consumes a lot of memory and has strict requirements on CPU. If PCs are used in the management, it would not be efficient. This paper discussed wavelet transformation of JPEG 2000, analyzes the algorithm improvement and hardware infrastructure in VLSC,FPGA,DSP and other specialized chips, and points out implementation problems in different hardware resolutions.This paper proposes a B/S 3 layers Tian Wei DADV files management system, describes its architecture and scheme. This paper focuses on picture collection, compression of JPEG 2000 and watermarking implanting, and illustrates the functions related to watermarking. In the system, DSP of CS5000 series manufactured by TI is adopted.As the implementation proved, the system is advanced and can satisfy the need of users.
