Nowadays the computer and network technology, which can digitize the sound signals and transmit them instantly, are widely used in the sound lab. In this way, the audio can be transmitted with less delay, the data can be transmitted more quickly and the traditional simulated sound lab's problems in data store, obscure sound, more electric noises, and signal distortion can be solved. The audio data signals and multi-media are transmitted. in a frame based on Ethernet and ATM network. Today, computer and network classrooms are available in most schools, colleges and universities. Then, how to make the multi-media data signals, such as language, transmit and respond immediately, and how to change the network classrooms into digital network sound labs and provide better service to language teaching and scientific research. The purposes of this paper are: accorded with The Technical Standard of Digital Language Studying System and based on theories and experiments, prove the digital network sound lab can be made best use of in computer network, the transmission in audio and video data ; provide the solution methods.In the system of digital network sound lab, there are two targets of audio or video transport's real-time and quality. From transport layer protocol, compare with TCP ,when based on UDP, idea of RTP can realize real-time and good quality.TCP is oriented on connected protocol, is used in depended on credibility data transfer of void circuit of network. Its retransfer and congestion aren't fit in real-time transport.RTP/ RTCP is one of application transfer layers. IETF designed RTP/RTCP for real-time transfer of audio. RTP lie on the UDP, its...
