A Study On VPN Tech Based Mobile IP Routing Optimization

The integration of mobile communication technology and IP technology has formed mobile IP technology; the appearance of mobile IP technology makes existing mobile communication way change deeply. Mobile IP technology is to solve the problem that mobile host accesses network not cutting off communication made by IETF. At present, the standardization of mobile IP has not been made, some problems still exist to be solved, and"triangular route"question is one of them. This article proposes one mobile IP route optimazation scheme --The mobile IP route optimazation scheme based on VPN technology. This scheme can solve"triangular route"problem using existing network environment and hardware conditions, and at the same time will not bring about some other new problem (for instance: Safety problem). This article summarily introduces mobile IP, VPN and relevant technology closely related to this scheme at first, and then carries on detailed description, analysis and designation to this scheme. Finally, realizes this scheme tentatively, utilizing existing equipment of laboratory, under the enviroment of Linux, and utilizes NS to imitate and test this scheme.
