Database technology is one of the most important technologies of Decision Support System. Improvements in database technology establish the foundation of data warehouse technology. Data warehouse and data mining technology is the newest technology to realize the computer decision-making and decision-supporting. They are the core technologies of integration information support program.Firstly, this paper describes how to build a social insurance data warehouse using database warehouse technology. Based on the analysis of multidimensional data model, data warehouse architecture and technical requirements, a database warehouse prototype of the social insurance system has been designed and built.Secondly, during the research of data mining technology, this paper discusses the function, category, responsibility, method, technique, and model of data mining. Then, a basic process and the major steps of social insurance data mining are achieved. After understanding and analysis of association rules algorithm, this paper studies the algorithm of data mining association rules and makes some improvement to the APriori algorithm. The advanced algorithm is successfully applied to the social insurance business, the application of prediction in social security check departmental by calculating in item muster, rules support and confidence.At last, this paper has discussed and summarized the basic conception and function of decision support system, and analyzed the applications of decision support system within the international society insurance information system. Based on the original society insurance data, a subject model has been completed. At the end of this paper, the model and frame of the Social Insurance Decision Support System are presented, which are implemented into an OLAP application by ORACAL 9i.Considering there is a lack of complete solution of application data warehouse and the data mining technology in the social insurance information systems of China, this paper has presented a complete implement approach, which proved advanced and practical in practice.The prime achievements and innovation of this article as follows:...
