With the development of Grid technology and Embeded System, traditional software arthitecture and the way of providing services can not meet the demand of mobile devices and embeded devices. The advent Grid computing and Pervasive computing will change traditional structure of Client/Server and Client/Cluster, which may become Pervasive/Grid(P/G) architecture, under which clients are several of wirless mobile devices. Servers connected to network will construct a single Grid.Grid computing has a close reationship with Pervasive computing. The emphasis of Grid is to change the whole internet into a huge super computer, which will achieve the share of computing resources, storage resources, information resources, knowledge resources, expert resources. Pervasive computing focuses on the smooth and timely attainment of digital service in the space that integrates information with physics. This integration spires the development of network; meanwhile, brings some challenges to the traditional network framework. This essay studies the integration of Grid computing and Pervasive computing and the corresponding application on mobile location based navigation.This essay designs and implements the mobile position-fix navigation system of layered system framework. Firstly, we brings the theory of Grid computing into personal navigation system, and GIS service, forecast service of traffic, the design service of route, GPS position-fix and query service are developed. Then, since Eclipse gives the flexible and open framework, this software is prevalent and more and more service is based on Eclipse framework. This essay describes a project instance of Eclipse Plugin application, and then, in order to solve the complexity of using Grid system source, we develop Grid Portal to shield internal content of Grid source to avoid complicated details. In this way, users can visit Grid source with convenience and flexibility. In the end, by using JADE-LEAP, we design and implement a set of telecommunication components that faces traffic field on the basis of mobile agent; after that, under the circumstance of Pervasive computing, we design and implement a mobile location based navigation system with powerful effect and locate it on nokia6600 mobile phone.
