CORBA-BASED CSCW System And The Design And Implementing Of Development Software Of Application Cooperation Tool

My research and development work was concentrated on two areas during the graduate time. One of them is the applying of CORBA technique in CSCW systems; the other is the design and implementing of the Development Software of Application Cooperation Tool.CORBA technique applied in CSCW systems is one of the main research areas in my graduate time. Due to the complexity of the environment and the action of cooperation, an open and integrated CSCW development system is in a urgent need. The module-based development modal is an popular resolvent to a CSCW system. It can allow different kinds of software to be integrated in a whole system according individual requirement in the distributed environment. This model is based on the technique of distributed objects. Traditional software development methods, however, lack for this kind of reusing ability and recombining ability. CORBA, one of the most popular standard specifications about distributed objects, can expend the depth and width of development of CSCW. In the first part of the dissertation, I discussed the applying of CORBA technique in CSCW system and put forth several problems in this case. Then, combing the 863 high technique project "CORBA-BASED Cooperative Environment of Enterprise", I introduce a architecture of a CSCW system based on CORBA specifications.
