As the Interne high-speeding developing, and the hardware's update, The scale of network is increasingly expand; At the same time, the data of military officer's housing becoming more and more great. In order to control and manage these data, a system about housing is needed. The voluminous data has posed great challenges to traditional data analysis methods. Data-mining or knowledge discovery in databases (KDD) has been emerging as a new research-field which incorporates the thoughts of machine learning, statistical analysis, neural-network, scientific visualization and data management. Data mining in spatial databases refers to the extraction of implicit knowledge. This paper puts forward the formal description of spatial clustering and association rulesand analyzes the characteristics of these two kinds of knowledge. First, we implement thehierarchical clustering, which constructs a hierarchical clustering tree based on the distancematrix of objects. Then we summarize the key techniques used to do clustering/classification in different fields such as statistics, machine learning, pattern recognition, etc.
