In this paper, the basic concept of Active Filters, four basic configurations of Active Filters and the characteristic of every configuration is firstly introduced in brief. The design of a practically sort of high performance biquadrates Elliptic Active Band-pass Filters is emphasized, and then the design techniques and how to calculate the resistors and capacitances, how to make computer simulation and tolerance analysis with computer are described in detail.
