The technology of gene-chip is a new technology with the development of life sciences and information technology and has become an efficient method of finding the information of biology molecule. The gene-chip images processing and analysis belong to the part of data analysis in the application of the gene-chip technology, they directly effect on the application of the gene-chip.In this paper, firstly, we describe the gene-chip and the technology of gene-chip, including the design and making of the gene-chip, the processing , hybridizing , detecting and analysis of the sample. At the same time, we make a summary about the actuality of the technology of gene-chip and the development of gene-chip at home and abroad.Then we take detail analysis about the detection methods of the fluorescence on gene-chip and introduce two types of commercial gene-chip scanners: one is laser confocal gene-chip scanner, the other is CCD gene-chip scanner. Particularly introduce a freedomly-researched gene-chip scanner by our lab, including its main body's design, the lamp-house's design, the optical diaphragm, the sensor and USB.The digital fluorescence image processing is a very important part we cared. We take a detail analysis on some methods of image processing, such as decreasing noise. With the principle of image processing, we can make our fluorescence image processing easy.We gain the key character of hybridized gene-chip'2-D fluorescence information by gridding. Then gain the detective result of gene-chip, study the data, and express the result with spreadsheet and scatter plot.Finally we introduce the software. It includes image processing and analysis, data analysis.
