Audio sense technology is a main branch of human computer interface, and it is important for the automatism and intelligence of computer. This technology can use computer to sense the environments around automatically and identify the sounder by analysis of audio signals, which can make computer has the auditory intelligence. Both in military fields and in civil fields, audio sense technology will be widely used, because it can extend the audio sense ability of people by using computer, which will be a primary assistant to human being in information acquisition domain.In this paper, audio signal gathering technology, audio signal feature extraction technology and embedded system technology are carefully analyzed, and an embedded real-time audio sense system that can identify different vehicles is implemented based on them. In the system, we enhance the recognition rate by enhancing the recognition rate of single sensor and taking advantage of different sensors'superiority. Experiments show that, when use MSP430F149 audio sensor to identify vehicles that contain plane, tank, truck and so on by time domain features and two-level F-ratio, the recognition rate is 82.1%; when use both MSP430F149 audio sensor and ARM9 sensor to identify vehicles, and the recognition rate is much better than the original system and MSP430F149 audio sensor. Line spectrum of power spectra and 3/2 spectrum is used as frequency features on ARM9 sensor, and it is caught by narrow-band bandpass filter.
