| The paper deals mainly with the web-based SMS learning platform. It is developed based on net technology and communication technology according to the mobile education theory. The system provides teachers and students a mobile learning environment without the limit of time and space, and is a more convenient and economical means to communicate learning information between teachers and students.In this paper, I begin with the analysis of mobile learning theory, then, through the careful examination of the characteristics and key technology of mobile learning, the practical plan under current situation is worked out. Moreover, I analyze the request of system in detail for the web-based SMS learning platform, by combining the characteristics of web-based development and the thoughts of software engineering. I work out the overall structure, sub-systems and modules. The system uses ASP.NET which have the specialties of orient object and easy expansibility and SQL Server 2000 as the development environment. The mobile instruction system has follow functions: management of phone number based on WEB, in order to facilitate the SMS group delivery; establishment of mobile discussion group based on SMS server, which help users discuss learning problems anytime and anywhere; performance query system suitable for SMS group delivery, which can send the test result to the specific phone number on demand, and vice versa, students can check their performance through the system as well. |
