| As network technology and multi-medium technology grow rapidly, demand for video communication for video conference and monitoring grow as well. Despite the growing tendency of bandwidth, only best-effort transmission service decided by IP network system could be provided. Due to the shortage of service quality guarantee, stable bandwidth required by video transmission cannot be ensued, Thus, network jamming is caused, video data are lost in transmission and the quality of video received image is lowered. How to improve transmission quality of video image under IP network environment is a hot point of network video studies and a key point requiring solution as well.Network video communication is a challenging study subject, involving in video coding ,speed rate control, jamming control, etc. Currently, jamming control studies are numerous based on TCP agreement transmission mode. However, jamming control study is at the theoretical stage, effective jamming control mechanism is short in most video transmission systems.In this paper, in-depth analysis on network transmission control is conducted based on application background of network video transmission and with aid of traditional network jamming control principle, and video flow self adaptation communication technology is extensively studied. This technology consists of network self adaptation jamming control and video self adaptable speed rate control technology. Network self adaptable jamming control technology uses network bandwidth of jamming control dynamic probe which is friendly to TCP, offers smooth data transmission bandwidth. Video self adaptable sped rate control technology controls video coding and transmission rate according to transmission bandwidth. Video transmission prototype system using video flow self adaptation is automatically adaptable to network jamming condition, ease jamming and improve video transmission quality.Following points are solved in this paper:1.
