The motion control system based on ARM and FPGA is the System which is integrated with computer numerical control technology, ARM, FPGA and Embedded OS and so on. The main target of the thesis is to design a flexible and open motion controller, which can work in standalone mode or computer mode. It is a new essay to low-cost and high-powered four-axle motion control system. The primary mission is the design and the effectuation of the motion control system's soft system and hardware, Also it is the research of the motion control algorithmic.There are three aspect contents are the key of this thesis: the research on the hardware of the motion control system and the operation when motion control system is handling at numerical control system and the effectuation of OS and function library of the motion control system.This thesis consists of seven chapters:The first chapter gives the main contents. It lodge the research content of the theses, It introduce the motion control technical actuality; And it gives an outline of embedded system. And it delivers the general picture at last.The second chapter is the systemic general planning design. It analyses the function and the capability.And it ascertain systemic hardware scheme and software scheme,then it gave out the systemic gross structure model.The third chapter introduces the system hardware physical design. It introduces the gross structure design of the system hardware and elaborates each several part design of circuits and gave out the schematic diagram.The fourthly chapter is motion control. It gives out the project method of control, then it analyses beeline interpolation and circular interpolation and gave out motion control mode.The fifth chapter is the systemic software design. It introduces some staple flush bonding Operating System and elaborate the graft of LINUX Operating System which is used in this system.And then layout the application software that carry out the control.The sixth chapter introduces the test and result in CNC.
