Along with the rapid development of the modern science and technology, the Information Technology has been used more and more widely. The 211 Hospital's HIS (Hospital Information System) has been investigated and analyzed through the information technology and modernized management knowledge in this article on the basis of the inform ationization management to meet a demand for the modern hospital management and in combination with the successful experience of the management information system built in the hospitals in domestic and abroad.At first introducing the related theories of the HIS and its application in the hospitals in domestic and abroad today in this article, then creating 11 subsystem under HIS including Emergency Management, Hospitalization Management, Information Management and etc. through the combination of Structured system Analysis and Design, Prototyping Approach and Object-Oriented Developing Approach, analyzing the functions and design of the system detailedly, including Dbase Design, Code Design, Man-Machine interface and etc. At the same time, creating the network based on the actual condition of the hospital. Finally, analyzing the benefit from the application of the HIS in the hospital and getting experience during the period of developing the management information system of the hospital.
