It is important problem to choice plan with the characteristic of ultra-wideband(UWB), when designing MAC in UWB system. When UWB technology become standardization and product, one problem need to be resolved, that is whether use MAC in other wireless network or develop new technology. One side whether the present MAC protocol can use in UWB system, another side add new technology in MAC layer to adapt to characteristic of UWB, it can control freely, and can provide different data rate to different link. In order to resolve the problem of UWB coexist with WLAN, it can design physical layer and MAC layer united. In this paper we first introduce the development of UWB technology and the using of wireless local network MAC protocol. On considering the influence of parameters such as RTS_ Threshold, we analyze the performance of CSMA/CA in basic access scheme as well as RTS-CTS scheme. Afterwards, the recent research results and the problems of mobile network's MAC protocols are studied deeply. In this paper combine UWB technology great attentions are paid to fair scheduling issues and using ratio of the wireless channel. Then a dynamic backoff medium access control scheme is presented to improve fairness and throughput of mobile network. The simulation results show that, the presented algorithm is simpler and more practical, while it can improve the fair index of mobile network to a large extent compared with the IEEE 802.11 binary exponential backoff (BEB) algorithm. And the algorithm can satisfy QoS requirement of real-time service. At last, this paper also verified the effects of the new access method to the Service Differentiation.
