The Research And Implement Of The Digital TV Receive System Driver Based On Linux

The digital TV broadcasting samples,measures and encodes traditional analog signals. Then it converts them into binary digital signals. After that the digital tv broadcasting processes various functions management, compressing, transmission, storage and record. It is also controlled and supervised by personal computer.This article is based on the project linuxDVB , and studies the relative knowledge of digital tv and the software technology of digital tv receive system design under Linux DVB api . This article is writed about how to design the realtime digital broadcasting receiving and playing system under Linux PC.Linux device drive plays important role in the dvb receive system,so this article analyses the elements of the linux device drive , the kernel configuration and the major system call. The focus is about the char device driver design used in the DVB receiving card and the drive development process in user space;analyzing the dvb receiving system working principle and process under Linux and providing a method to load the Linux dvb receive card device drive into the linux kernel;analyzing and implementing the firmware design of saa7146 chipset working with linux kernel and working characteristic in vrious working mode ; analyzing and implementing the frontend drive programing of the digital tv receive system; realized the QAM demodulation and the mpeg stream filter ,so that the output stream can be used to playing on PC better. And this article designs an event management mechanism based on the mhp , which improve the Linux dvb software system. This system platform is based on GNU development tool kit,including GCC compile and GDB debug,the drive is writed in program C.The function test showed that this design of drive application can work fluently in the DVB system.
