Research And Implementation Of Integrity Constrains Of GKD-Base

With the wide application of computer, information epoch is coming, Database Management System (DBMS) has received more and more attention. Some national academes have made their own DBMS, such as GKD-Base.because of late starting, Compared with commercial DBMS, they have many limitations for lack of some important functions, these limitations bring much impact to widely generalize these native DBMS.So, it is imperious to improve the existing native DBMS. For this background, this project is brought out to get more ability by adding some function.This paper researchs and discusses several key techniques of realizing integrity constraints. Starting from introducting the system framework of the GKD-Base kernel, this paper emphasizes discussion of the composing of GKD-Base's client and service, then researching several key techniques of GKD-Base kernel relate to realizing integrity constraints.On the basis of introducting the system framework of the GKD-Base kernel, this paper discusses the compile of CHECK constraint, and presents the design and implement of integrity constraint's data dictionaries. Then this paper presents the implement of CHECK constraint. CHECK constraint involves Primary key, Not null, unique and Check, among them, Check is the emphases, this paper presents implement of compile and execution about the Check constraint expression, then gives out the system experiment results.In the end of this paper, the discussions are reference integrity constraint's design and implement, first, the key techniques are discussed: memory managment, index sacn, whole table scan, and then this paper presents the reference constraint implements of Insert, Update and Delete, the implement of the compatibility of reference integrity constraint and trigger, at last, the system experiment results are presented.All the technologies discussed in this paper have been relized in GKD-Base kernel. Now, the engine can run stably. We have compared it with the integrity constraint of Oracle. It can be concluded that the GKD-Base's integrity constraint is compatible with that of Oracle.
