Educational administration is one of the most important functions in colleges and universities, which is an important standard for the administration level of campuses. In recent years, the increasing popularization and the fast development of computer network provides a powerful information processing platform, and they have an influence on our work and daily life. Therefore, the popularization of network also provides convenient conditions for educational administration system, which could provide an integrated office environment.This thesis is completed based on the development and implementation of educational administration system, ZJNUDE. This system is developed for Zhejiang Normal University for the characteristics of multiple campuses distributing over different areas, adopting modern ideologies, conceptions and principles of software engineering.First of all, this thesis analyzes some problems and deficiencies of traditional educational administration of colleges and universities in China, such as lacking integrity, data redundancy, being difficult to be integrated and low reusing. Then this thesis expatiates on the indispensability and significance of developing an educational administration system. The new software component technology, agent-oriented software engineering conception and some relative technologies in this system are also summarized in this thesis.Secondly, this thesis analyzes the whole system in details, and is modeled by UML. And then, three important components of this system are described in details: course-selecting subsystem based on agent; intelligent course-arranging subsystem based on agent; educational administration subsystem based on software component technology.In an addition, this thesis also analyzes and demonstrates some relative technologies of the system, such as database design, data security protecting strategies and communication mechanism. And the key and creative technologies, e.g. genetic algorithm to solve course-arranging problem, assistant descision-making support and data lifecycle technique, are emphasized and explained. The application of these technologies makes the system flexible, intelligent and of high efficiency.Finally, the implemental methods and procedures of these important components of the system are presented in details. The system is completed at last, and the effect of the system performance is satisfacting.
