The Research Of Multispectral Image Fusion Algorithm Based On Wavelet Transform

Since the eighties, information fusion technique is generally attached importance by every country, and it develops rapidly. Information fusion can provide users with more reliable and more effective information by optimizing the multi-source data, and becomes one of efficient means to solve the large number data. In this paper, history and present situation of information fusion in remote sensing is reviewed firstly.The basis idea of wavelet analysis comes from the method of stretching and translating in classical reconciliation analysis. Wavelet analysis has good local property in the fields of time and space. Especially Mallat introduced the idea of multi-resolution analysis in computer vision to it, and turned some existing special methods, which were used to produce wavelet functions, to one method successfully. At the time, he presented a corresponding algorithm—Mallat algorithm.
