| The high-speed IP network is one of the most important reform of the telecommunication realm. However, the traditional TDM network and service are still the profit source of the telecommunication. How to enable IP to accommodate TDM is still a question to all. The first solution is VoIP while all the VoIP technique are going through an essential reform. The second is transitional solution by TDMoIP.TDMoIP uses the most simplified method to insert TDM network with IP. It can be taken in with all the existing equipment, such as traditional PBX and exchange. At the same time of keeping the same operation quality of TDM, TDMoIP has completed the transition to a new generation of communication network, which provides a low-cost solution.This thesis gives analysis on TDM circuit emulation structure in PSN, describes the basic theory of TDMoIP and the technology of encapsulation, based on which a applicable circuit emulation equipment application scheme.The thesis first points out that the PSN TDM circuit emulation is based on the definition of common architecture in Psedo Wire (PW) Emulation Edge-to-Edge (PWE3) of IETF..
