The weak signal examination is a discipline which develops unceasingly with the project application . Regarding the strong noise background environment, the weak signal examination method research is comprehensive technology and the state-of-art domain in the signal processing technology, along with social and the technical development, the weak signal examination already in physical, chemistry, the astronomy, biological, the medicine as well as the many kinds of projects application domain obtained the quite widespread application, in domestic and foreign more and more takes into account. The digital phase-lock amplifier has become the main instrument of current weak signal, its low power loss and the reliable higher prominent characteristic has applied widely in the military national defense, the domestic electric appliances, the network communication, the industry control and so on each domain. In order to satisfy the quick operating speed, strong timeliness , the higher request precision , we have selected TI Corporation's DSP chip TMS320C5416 as the core carry on the system design.This article revolves the design of digital phase-lock amplifier, introduced the weak signal examination method, the examination principle and work principle of the simulation phase-lock amplifier , has analyzed the limitation of simulation phase-lock amplifier . We proposed design plan of digital phase-lock amplifier based on the DSP technical , introduce in detail the DSP system constitution, the characteristic as well as the DSP system design process, produce the TMS320C5416DSP chip internal structure drawing, in this foundation, based on digital phase-lock amplifier correlation detection principle, produce the digital phase-lock amplifier overall design, emphatically from correlation detection algorithm and phase shifting algorithm we has made the detail analysis to the digital phase-lock amplifier design, and has carried on the actual operation for A/D transforms signal, the operation result and the theoretical analysis tallies very much. This hasthe important theory guiding sense to the digital phase-lock amplifier hardware electric circuit design. Moreover, we introduce briefly application of the phase-lock amplifier in battery internal resistance measurement, microwave characteristic research, thermistor characteristic research aspect and so on.
