On The Security Of The Internet Tax Payment System

Along with the rapid development of internet, the internet tax payment system being provided by the tax authority has been offered for users. However, the system and its capability of safeguarding data in the open internet are raised concerns over by the tax authority and taxpayer. The internet tax payment system has been running more than one year in Xinyu city national tax bureau with its increasing security breaches. As a result, strengthening security management and composing reliable secure platform are very important.In this paper, the demand and measure of security for the internet tax payment system in our work have been introduced. The investigation and analysis of the real security in the internet tax payment system reveal that the secure risks are mostly from damages of software and hardware, malice code, virus attack, error operation of legitimate user, attack and destruct of malice assaulter and hacker. The methods of improving the system reliability and security, and the project of platform for secure system are also developed.In the design of that plan, the risk assessment of the design process is highlighted. The method defined by Lumeng Science and Technology Company is utilized, which first identifies and values the assets, second evaluates the security threat and frangibility, and then calculates risk value. With those the high risk factors are recognized, and the risks in the internet tax payment system are quantified in figures and tables.In the realization of the plan, the details of security technology and product and their deployment are discussed. This plan can prevent security threats of internet tax payment system.
