Design And Implementation Of Embedded Web Browser For Intelligent Housing Estate

More and more network is used nowadays. So we want use it in a housing estate. The audio/video communication system is important in a housing estate, because it can avoid meets not necessary, and ensure the safety of the estate. But products that is in use has many faults such as difficulty in function extension, expensive, difficulty of installation, and difficulty of maintaining.So we launched this Intelligent Housing Estate project with the fund from DIGITONE CO.LTD. In this project we developed several device and software, and connected them with a local area network. This intelligent system offers customer a lot of useful functions for example audio/video communication, IP broadcasting, important information browsing, accessing the internet etc. Compared to products which is in use this system has many advantages such as convenience in function extension, not expensive, easy to install, and convenience of maintaining.In the domestic device software system the embedded browser plays a important part in the whole system. People use it to access the network and fetch information that they need, and as the main module in the system it launch and organize other modules, also, it is the main user interface to interact with users. One of the main characteristic of embedded web browser is the diversity, that is your mast develop you own embedded browser in terms of your particular hardware platform, operating system, GUI library, and the requirement of customer. There is no suitable produce for this project. So in terms of this project, we proposed the embedded web browser solution, and implemented it.
