Fabric defects detection based on image processing technology is a hot and difficult research area in computer vision and digital image processing and computer graphics. In this thesis, we analyze the feature of fabric defects and present different automatic detection technology framework based on different type defects.We first analyze and research the feature of fabric bias weft, bore formation, tie-in, sleaziness and double weft. We design different detection method and relevant algorithm.We design a suit of fabric defects automatic detection equipments, including image signal's collection and analysis and processing, defects automatic detection and identification, and automatic alarm. On the basis of this, we collect fabric image information on flow line using CCD pick-up head, handle image on real time using computer program, utilize fabric defects automatic detection and identification algorithm to detect fabric defects and other processing.The method proposed in this thesis solves effectively the inefficient problem by manual work, and can do statistical analysis to a mass of historic data. And we can use these data to research the fabric defects regulation.
