Optics-electron measure device made up of optics, machine, electron and computer is a complex tracking and measuring instrument. It has been produced long years, which has a great deal of testing information. If these information can be managed and analyzed effectively, this will be very useful to guiding device' s design and test. The management based on the labors that took the managers a lot workload, wasted a lot of manpower, made the management abnormal.In order to resolve the above-mentioned problem, this paper will introduce the designing and developing of the database management system based on the mode of client-server. The mainly function is to establish and manage the information of the device testing, including information adding, searching, deleting, modification, analyzing and printing. The management system establishs the information communication between human and computer that would make it possible for the common user to manage all the information of the device test.The author develops database based on SQL Server. All the relation schemas and tables of the database have been describled. Two types of tables are created in the database. One is the type of base tables that store the fundamental information. DataBase Administrator is responsible for maintaining and updating it. The other is the type of tables that store the information parts from the base tables.The author develops client application based on C++Builder, which will help to increase efficiency in management.
