Research And Implement On Testing System Of Bluetooth Devices

A testing system of Bluetooth devices is proposed and researched in this paper, and an application testing system of bulutooth headset devices is designed and implemented for Bluetooth application-Bluetooth headset. The system uses BlueCore2-flash chip of CSR Company as core, Microsoft WindowsXP and CSR Bluelab as developing platform. It is able to test the conformance of application protocol and working performance on all kinds of Bluetooth headset devices produced by different manufacturers, and generates the corresponding testing report. This system comes to the application test demand of Bluetooth headset device with low cost, and supplies reliable technology method of application testing for institutes and companies engaged in Bluetooth headset research.The basal principles of Bluetooth technology and the importance of developing on Bluetooth devices application testing systems are introduced. The architecture of Bluetooth communication protocols is illuminated. Large Bluetooth testing devices emphasize on the conformance testing, interoperability testing and performance testing. They are expensive and complicated in implementation and low-efficient in application testing. So the design of Bluetooth devices application testing system is proposed in this paper, and an application testing system of Bluetooth headset devices is implemented. It uses personal computer and operating system to supply graphical user interface. The lower protocols of Bluetooth are encapsulated into the chip and a AT interface over RS232 is designed for the communication between the chip and the computer. The programming implementation of interface application is given by VB in WindowsXP platform. The application and operating performance testing of Bluetooth headset devices are implemented by the cooperation of external applications in the computer. The design of Bluetooth headset device application testing system is discussed in detail in this paper,which concluding lower protocol interface,AT interface,lots of control and user performance interface. A practical testing result and analysis of testing a Bluetooth headset device made in jinou is given.the testing result indicates that the Bluetooth headset application testing system is stabile, credible and performancing well.
