Research On Bluetooth Profiles And Realization On Bluetooth Handsfree Profile And Bluetooth Headset Profile

The project of this thesis is supported by the Science and Technology Project of 10th Five Year Plan in China (2001BA102C) and the Science and Technology Key Project of 10th Five Year Plan in Jiangsu (BG2000008). The main task is to research and implement Bluetooth Handsfree Profile and Bluetooth Headset Profile. The thesis gives the analysis and implementation of Handsfree Profile and Headset Profile. The design of some software and hardware of handsfree and headset is discussed. The scheme of them is analyzed. Finally, the audio gateway is designed based on Windows2000/X86 platform. Meanwhile, Bluetooth Headset Profile is realized by CSR development kit.The whole thesis is divided into five chapters as follows.Firstly, the background of study is introduced. The Bluetooth application and the prospect of Bluetooth Profiles are discussed.Secondly the Bluetooth standard has been introduced. The components of system and protocol stack and profile modules of Bluetooth are delineated.After that, G18, CSR Bluelab and MCF5272 are introduced simply.Then, the Bluetooth Handsfree Profile is introduced. Analyse the components of system and protocol stack and the operation procedure between terminals and audio gateways are delineated.Discussion has been placed on the simulative realization of the audio gateway of the Bluetooth Handsfree Profile on Windows2000/X86 platform.Finally, the Bluetooth headset is realized by the CSR development kit.Based on the Bluetooth Handsfree Profile, the audio gateway is completed on Windows2000/X86 platform, which can communicate with the terminal designed by others. With the other member' s help, the headset based on the Bluetooth Headset Profile is implemented.
