In the additional control systems what was driven by frequency converter, we usually adopted PID regulator, and its parameter according to classical control theory based on the linear system whose model is accurate. Recently, in the AC adjusted speed system, the method of controller design focus on the linear engineering design. Obviously, constant PID parameter can't guarantee control precision of system to an object, which is nonlinear, multilateral variable and parameters changed with time.Recently, most research on neural-network-based adaptive control technology for resolving complicated systems, which is nonlinear, multilateral variable and parameters changed with time, still focuses on theory. In this paper, I selected neural-network-based adaptive control technology to solute control problems of complicated system, which is driven AC frequency converter.Firstly, this paper gives an over view of the recent studies on neural-net-work-based adaptive control technology and AC adjusted speed. And several important problems existing on them are also proposed. Secondly this paper puts forward a thought that the neural-net-work-dual-closed loop-control system droved by frequency converter is designed depending on the device developed by research institute on power-electron and control system of motor of QingHua university. This system is realized on DSP proved by TI company.On the basis of experiment and emulation, this paper researches and analyses abilities of following, resisting disturbance and robust about neural net-work based adaptive control system. Through the emulation and experiment, this paper makes a conclusion that neural-net-work-based adaptive control technology can settle control problems of complicated system what is nonlinear, multilateral variable and parameters changed with time. For example, control systems driven by AC frequency converter. Compared with additional PID control system, It will enhance the precision, abilities of resisting disturbance and robust of system.
