Research On Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Critical Reports In China's Press

Content:Along with the economic globalization, communicatory webbing and market internationalization, in today's reformation and opening the press supervision is urgently needed to fetch up the deficiency of judicature and legislation supervision. As a dominating form of press supervision, critical reports are very important to our life and democratic advancement.The literature analysis indicated that the correlative studies are mostly dispersedly existed in the press supervision papers and books. The abstract, narrative papers are more than practice, operating papers. We should discuss the critical reports' situation, reason and the countermeasure deeply and completely.This paper firstly analyzed the situation of critical reports by studying its history, environment, practitioners' cognition, the reports content, object, domain and the different treatments. Then, I tried to put forward some countermeasures in ways of principle, strategy and safeguard measure.The study indicated that our country always attached importance to critical reports, and there are some laws or policy established to protect the media's critical rights. In the mean time, there are low critical level, operating and mental handicap.So, the practitioner should stick to the party, authentic, constructive, democracy and lawful principles; the media should play the information circulator role, choose the right theme, ensure the authenticity by deep investigation and choose the right time to report or feedback.On the safeguard measures, we should give more space to media. We should make laws to protect the critical reports and restrict it in the same time. On the other hand, the media also should establish the autonomy organization, separating the propaganda and the operation, standardize management, train their staff to make more and better critical reports, to exert the critical reports' function in the democracy advancement.
