With the rapid development on the technology of cellular phones,short message(SM) have become one of the most important ways in communication.By making use of real data, we construct an evolving Short Message Services(SMS) network. We find that the SMS network is a scale-free network.By investigate the mean connectivity and the mean path length o f SMS network,we find that there are two descriptions based on different time measure-the number of nodes or the number of edges -representing different stages of the SMS network's evolution.This text regards the network of the communication based on SMS as the research object, and announce that the complicated network characteristic in the communication network especially in mobile communication network in the realistic society, we regard the people who send SMS as node of network, every people have SMS exchanged set up the route among them, we utilize matrix to express this network, and has calculated the network parameters, such as distribution of degree of the network, cluster coefficient, network diameter and the average shortest path ,the result of calculation shows that the SMS network belong to scale-free network.The author basing on a certain time and one area have regarded time as the unit, reduced the forming process of the SMS network, and has calculated the growth with the network, most large diameter of network, average shortest path, percentage parameter of network that node which take whole network with course that time develop.It can make us have better understanding of the characteristic of mobile...
