The primary characteristic of NGN is open, syncretic and driven by service. In order to implement these characteristics, softswitch must support multiple protocols access such as H.323,SIP,MGCP and so on .The access layer is the basis for Softswitch System, so the software testing is very important. As other communication software, the protocol access subsystem of Softswitch is based on state and its essential function is based on the Finite-State Machine. But currently there is no matual testing methods for Finite-State Machine. At the same time, OO techonology wins more and more favor of communication software for its special advantages, so testing methods for communication software based on OO techonology became the focus of study. As a whole, this article has these following innovation points:1. Studied the testing methods for state transfer diagram of communication software2. Studied the testing methods for communication software based on OO techonologyBy studying the software testing method of communication software and OO system, this article brings forward an uniform software testing method for call access subsystem in Softsware system and implements these software testing methods in H.323 subsystem. It designs and implements test cases for H.323 subsystem according to the four different periods and levels. The outline of this article is as follows:1. The summary of testing methods for communication softsware2. The summary of testing methods for communication softsware based on OO3. The introduction of H.323 subsystem4. The design and implemention of test cases for H.323 subsystem...
