Research And Design Of Instant Messaging Software Based On RTC

In our information society, the more quickly you have information, the more business chances and the more wealth you will possess. Demand for information can not be fully met through internet, E-mail, TV or other media. People want to have the information in time, and this demand becomes more and more urgently. In our days, in order to contact the outer world more efficiently, besides E-mail and telephones these old communicational ways, people need some more rapid ways to contact with each other. Instant Messaging, (always IM for short) can meet the need of people, it can transfer information timely. Under this special background, Instant Messaging software came into being.Instant Messaging software. ,when it was born it aims to transfer text message timely, but With the development of technology, functions of Instant Messaging software has been extended greatly. Now audio, video and even the share of application has gradually became important and even mandatory functions . Beside these functions many companies has developed more and more the other functions. Now multifarious products are in full flourish in the Instant Messaging software market. Under this background ,it brings many troubles. For example, different company develops different private protocol because of absence of standard Instant Messaging Protocol, which makes different Instant Messaging software can not communication each other. We should do our endeavor to settle these troubles which leads to the discommodities of our consumers.A new Instant Messaging software architecture is designed based on comparing several existing architedtures in the thesis and the main functions are implemented.RTC,VOCAL and SIP are applied to the architecture. The solution can solve coopration of different Instant Messaging softwares, which is just our goal of design.
