With the rapid development of society, people's demand for voice quality is getting higher and higher,However, people's overuse in life and carelessness in protecting the vocal cords can cause vocal cord disease and eventually affect people's normal communication.Regarding the degree of vocal cord damage, the sound changes slightly, the voice is hoarse, the sound is difficult to vocalize, and the tissue surrounding the vocal cords vocalizes lesions,Surgical resection is required before returning to normal. Therefore, early detection of vocal cord disease is particularly important, and it is necessary to accurately judge the patient's condition, symptomatic treatment, and early eradication of the cause. The vocal cords play a decisive role in influencing the voice and the quality of the vocal organs, because they are susceptible to damage and often vocal lesions,so in the case of voice disease,it is often first to observe the patient's sound with no damage and severity. The reason why human beings can make a sound is mainly relying on the regular vibration of vocal cords and the coordination of other organs. Therefore,it is a very important task for voice researchers to study the vibration mode of vocal cords and evaluate objectively. To study vocal cord vibrations,we first need to establish a vocal cord model. Some of the previous vocal cord models only analyze the parameters of the vibration equation and do not take into account the effects of changes in the model parameters, and some use the idea of finite element to model the vocal cords, which is too complicated,or some do not compare the theoretical vocal cord model study results with the actual speech simulation results. Therefore,in view of the above imperfections, and based on the normal vocal cords, this paper studies the vocal cord polyp model, which is one of the pathological vocal cords, and then correlates it with the actual speech pathological results. This article mainly did the following tasks:(1)The major organs that produce sound, the principle of sounding and the vibration modes of the vocal cords, and the knowledge about the types of vocal lesions are mainly introduced.(2)According to the physical and mechanical characteristics and vibration characteristics of the actual vocal cords,on the basis of the typical normal two quality vocal cords model(I-F model),the two mass vocal cords model(H-C model)was simplified, and the common vocal cord pathological model-single bilateral vocal polyp model was established based on this model.Based on the actual speech, the paper introduces the method of extracting the vibration characteristic parameters of vocal cords, that is glottis volume velocity.(3)The vibrational equations of the normal vocal cords and single and double-sided polyp vocal cords were analyzed to obtain the relationship between the displacements of the characteristic parameters and the volume velocity of the glottis. The influence of the polyp size of the single vocal polyp model on the vibration displacement, the glottis pressure and the volume velocity of glottis was obtained by using the maximum method bifurcation graph. Two methods of extracting the glottal volume velocity were used to simulate the actual speech database, and the best extraction method was used to analyze the normal and pathological conditions. Then the results were compared with the theoretical model to verify the rationality of the model.
