Application Of Component Technology In Network Management System

Along with the rapid development of information technology, network is widely utilized in the fashion of an explosion. Facing the increasingly tremendous and complex network, the role of the network management system is becoming greater and greater. For the purpose of developing the network performance, network status needs to be monitored and adjusted through network management system, thus making a full and high utilization of various network resources. And failure reports and resolutions can be quickly generated in response to network blockage, thus guaranteeing network to run in a healthy way with high-efficiency.The NMS (Network Management System) software introduced in this paper, NMView, is a support for the network apparatus developed by a national company. In the consideration of the "flexible-to-change" characteristics of the network environment, NMView is orientated for the online monitoring, setting and managing those network apparatus. Meanwhile NMView can be expanded to a system supporting the third side. Applying the component technology into the system can satisfy the requirement of being capable of good expansion.
