The Convenient Store, totally different with the supermarket or shops the customer may have known very well, mainly focuses on the satisfaction of the customers' instant demands, with a rather large business scale. At present, such chain convenient store logistic system is still on the un-developed stage in China. Its main businesses are still centralized in several large-mid sized developed cities, leaving a huge gap between it and that of the developed countries. However, with the continuous development of China's national economy and GNP, the development of chain convenient store in China will definitely go faster and faster consequently. Thus demands the support of a world-leveled advanced chain convenient logistic system platform. Our task group, through the study on the mature convenient store logistic system of Japanese 7-11 Group, has successfully developed a 7-11 Beijing Convenient Store Logistic System which features in Chinese characteristics. The system development, which is based on the integrated utilization of the Internet and the LAN technologies, adopts Windows and UNIX Operation System and ORACLE 9I database, with the most advanced Webserver technology. Besides, based on the traditional MVC mode structure, we has used the Jakarta Struts Framework to create a 5-layer MVC (2MV2C) mode structure, enabling the fast data exchange between remote client and the server as well as the background data analysis and process functions. I have, in this project, been participated and been responsible for the system total demand analysis, total structure and SW/HW design, the detailed development work and the realization of store information enter modular. Accordingly, I will make a detailed introduction on the contents of my part, and point out the advantage, shortcomings and future development of this system.
