Research And Practice Of Anti-Spam Technology

With the development and popularization of Internet, E-mail has been widely used. Apart from the convenient it bought to people, a new problem had arisen, that is the emergence of spam mails. Those spam mails not only consume great amount of web resources, but also spread bad information which do a lot of harm to the society. So the study of how to anti-spam has great significance. To deal with spam, Ministry of Informaiton Industry of China (MII) has been making related standards and evalucating anti-spam, but the formal standard is under making. Meanwhile, the effective testing means for anti-spam has not now, including special testing software and approrate schem, making standard and scheme and testing software development is proiroty issue. Until now it is scare of them including standards as well as testing schema and testing software.First, this paper studies the E-mail and anti-spam technology, makes the anti-spam technology standard in China and proposes a recommendation technology framework for accounting spam to ITU-T.
