In the research of ship motion, it will take massive manpower and material resources and spent much more time if sea trials are carried out with real ship. To shorten the times of sea trials, reduce cost, quicken the exploitation of product, it is needed to construct simulation platform. This paper is based on 'fifteen' national defense project 'ship stabilization research', developed three degrees of freedom semi-physical simulation platform. Then make a study of ship attitude forecast algorithm .The content as followings:First of all, the paper accomplishes the hardware design for ship three degrees of freedom semi-physical simulation platform. In terms of a certain real ship's * motion characters, it contrives the platform's mechanical structure, rest on which it finishes the drive-control and hardware design of data acquisition .Simulation platform is driven by servomotor that works on position control. The control card will compare the command signal with current attitude of the platform; the generated command is send to motor-driven cell as a form of pulse signals. So that is the position control of motor.To obtain the command signal of platform attitudes, the article simulate ship's roll, pitch, jaw rotations. To begin with, in accordance with hydrodynamic data under a certain conditions, establish ship attitudes motion model on slice theory. Considering the interaction, it takes wave spectrum analyses to extend ship attitude model. Then emulate it by MATLAB.Considering the function of platform and hardware structure, using LABVIEW to design the software which contains platform correction programming, initialization programming, motion control programming, and data generating programming.On ship motion semi-physical simulation platform, the article makes a further...
