In this paper, a multi-wavelength electro-optic Q-switched pulsed Nd:YAG laser has been developed. In this system, a type of electro-optic Q-switch of an multifunctional artificial crystal Langasite(La3Ga5SiO14,LGS) is used on the two operation modes of retreat pressure circuit and pressure circuit. On the pressure circuit mode, the laser pulse width is 14.7 ns . the average peak power is 50MW/cm2. And on the same operation mode, these parameters of out put laser are compared with the corresponding parameters when the electro-optic Q-switch of KD P is employed. The differences of performance of these two electro-optic Q-switches have been obtained. The dynamic to static ratio of LGS is higher than that of KD P. LGS has more advantages when the pressure circuit mode is employed . A set of systematic test data has been provided for the development and application of Langasite crystal. On the basis. 355nm ultraviolet pulsed laser has be obtained by a new nonlinear Bismuth Triborate (BIBO) crystal sum frequency of Nd:YAG 1064 nn fundamental frequency laser and 532 nm double frequency laserwhen the II type of phase matching angle is 71.8°. So the three wavelength laser have been achieved.
